Cuc Phuong known as Vietnam’s first national park covers an area of over 22,000 ha, bordered by 3 provinces consisting of Ninh Binh, Hoa Binh and Thanh Hoa. The park is home to a great diversity of flora and fauna as well as a center for rescue, rehabilitation and breeding for the species. The journey of trekking from the Park to Muong village lied beside the poetic Bưởi River promises to be an extremely exciting experience.

Day 1: Hanoi –Cuc Phuong National Park, Ninh Binh (D)

12h30 Noon: Bus and tour guide pick up at a pointed address, boarding to Cuc Phuong National Park on the highway.

16h30: Arrive at the campsite of Cuc Phuong National Park.

Put up tents, dinner will be served. Spend the night with the campfire in the jungle.

After that, the guides lead you to see numerous nocturnal creatures and thousands of fireflies flickering in a magnificent sight. Overnight by tent.

Day 2: Cuc Phuong National Park – Khanh Village (B, L, D)

5h30: Bird-watching (optional), then breakfast

7h30: Clear the campsite.

8h00: Bus departs to the Park Center- Bong substation for trekking to Khanh Village for about 17km (7 hours). Picnic lunch along the way.

15h30: Arrive at Khanh Village

18h30: Dinner at Khanh Village

19h30: Muong ethnic traditional music and dance performance

Overnight in the stilt house – the local host family of Muong

Day 3: Khanh Village – Hanoi (B, L)

6h30 – 7h00: Breakfast

8h00: Rafting on Bưởi River

11h00: Local lunch

12h30: Bus back to Hanoi. End of the trip
